With our services having them installed isn’t so much the question. It’s when to turn them on. We have customers that install their lights in August and September. But they don’t plug them in until after Thanksgiving. The LED bulbs used will last in the weather for 5+ years so don’t worry about them in the weather.
Why sure it is. We suggest using a timer though so they’re only on when it’s dark. Otherwise you’re just aging the bulbs. But even so the Commercial grade bulbs used by most professional companies will last 5+ years without losing any brightness.
In the old days this was a concern. Some of the retail lights bought may still have a concern. But as everything else in the world has evolved, the new LED bulbs professional services use won’t get hot enough to catch fire. This also cuts down on the electricity used.
